How to travel in Santorini island, Perissa beach

Olympic Airlines and Aegean Airlines organized daily flights to Santorini from Athens International Airport The flight is takes you about 30 minutes long.

Santorini Airport has also charters from many European towns. Santorini may also be reached by a high speed ferries and ferryboats from the port of Piraeus. Ferry takes you at least 8 hours. High speed ferries however provide faster service of 4 hours.

Every day there are ferries connecting santorini with other islands.

Travelling to and from Athens International Airport to the centre of Athens - follow on to Piraeus Port

Travel by bus EXPRESS BUS SERVICE - Outside the Arrival Terminal (Click here to view)

The bus lane is to your right as you exit. Buses depart on the hour and on every half hour. You buy your ticket from the ticket kiosk before you enter the bus.

BUS X96 : Piraeus Port - Airport
Average travelling time to Piraeus Port : 90 minutes. The line connects the airport with the port of Piraeus. (Connection with ferry routes and Metro GREEN Line 1)

BUS X95 : Syntagma Square - Airport
Average travelling time to Syntagma : 70 minutes. The line connects the airport with Syntagma square in Athens city center. (Connection with Metro Lines 2 & 3)

There is a pedestrian flyover with access by stairs, moving escalator or elevator for the physically challenged which will take you to the train platforms & ticketing desks.Train frequency : every 30 minutes 7 days a week. Get the Metro BLUE Line 3 from Airport to Syntagma square
Get off at Syntagma and connect to Monastiraki (1 stop).
Connect at Monastiraki for Piraeus Port with Metro GREEN Line 1
